ADVISORY BOARD ELECTIONS 2010



ELECTION GUIDELINES


CANDIDATES

* Candidates wishing to put themselves forward for election are asked to provide the following:

  • A manifesto outlining what they feel they could bring to the board (100-150words)
  • Personal biography outlining their background, skills and experience (100-150words)
  • A photograph

                ***The deadline for submitting candidate information is 5pm on Thursday 19th August***

* Employees of non-member companies are not permitted to stand.

* We would like to draw the attention of all candidates to the ‘Advisory Board’ page in the ‘About Us’ section of the CatEx website. This gives a more detailed description of the specific responsibilities of board members and what the role entails. It is essential anyone considering standing for election reads this document fully, to understand what would be required of them.

* All candidate manifestos and biographies will be displayed on the CatEx website during the voting process.

* All completed manifestos can either be emailed to Naomi Dymond, Head of Communications, at naomi@catalogueexchange.co.uk or posted to The Catalogue Exchange, 151 High Street, Ilfracombe, North Devon, EX34 9EZ.


VOTING

* The voting window will officially open on Monday 23rd August at 9am

* Voting forms will be emailed to member companies and will also be available to download on the CatEx website, once the voting window opens.

* Voting forms should be returned to Naomi Dymond, Head of Communications, by one of the following methods:

ELECTION TIMETABLE

                       Monday 2nd August – Election launch - candidates invited to stand
 
                                 Thursday 19th August – Deadline for nominations 

                               Monday 23rd August – Voting window opens at 9am

                             Friday 10th September – Voting window closes at 5pm

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

The newly elected board members will serve a term of two years. They will take up their role at ECMOD2010, on October 6th and 7th, at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London.
