OUR BACKGROUND

The Catalogue Exchange was established in 2004 and is the first trade body of its kind in the UK to be established with the specific aim of supporting and developing businesses in all areas of the catalogue and online retail community.  

 

The Catalogue Exchange serves the national and international business community. It was set up five years ago by business owners who felt their interests were not fairly represented and who wanted to give themselves and others in the industry a voice.

 

Over the past five years the organisation has steadily grown and it now has around two hundred client-side and supplier-side companies on board. Current members include Scotts & Co, Harrods Direct, International Dance Supplies, Charles Tyrwhitt, The White Company, Nauticalia, Joe Browns, Recycle Works, Muddy Puddles, Great Little Trading Company, Cath Kidston, Hotel Chocolat, Next Directory and Boden.

 

Led by an elected advisory board of leading industry experts, CatEx is committed to furthering standards of knowledge and education among catalogue industry professionals. It also seeks to promote better standards of data hygiene, security and best practice.
